Kaspar Suppus worked as a music teacher (presumably for guitar) in Mainz, and since 1842 at the latest as a viola player in the theater orchestra; He also worked for Schott as an arranger. In 1856 he moved to London. (from 'Music and musicians on the Middle Rhine 2')
