Miscellaneous information
- Organist at the Church of the Holy Trinity, NY City, late 19th century. The date of death may be 1879- see notes to the page of the Warren edition of the Adagio and Scherzo. (no-was alive and living in New York, listed as a musician, on 159 West 63rd Street, in 1892.)
Possibly Peter B. Sparks (though there was a Dr. P.B. Sparks, died 1890?, of Charleston, who a reference may have been referring to here...) There was also a Dr. Sparks, organist of Leeds Town Hall, in 1880 - probably a coincidence but may relate somehow... also, a Peter B. Sparks was the organist at Scotia Lodge in 1893. ... Hrm.
