Wadia Sabra (1876-1952) is known as the composer of the Lebanese national anthem and the founder of the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. But he is much more than that, and in particular, he is one of the first to "import" musical writing into Lebanon. His catalog includes a large number of vocal and instrumental works alongside a rich activity of musicology.
