Brother of Julius Reubke. Some brief biography in the Wikipedia article on that composer. Edited his brother's work, and composed about a half-dozen opus # for piano solo and at least one for chorus (the early character piece for piano published ca.1873 may be the same work as the character piece published as Op.4 in 1902- would have to compare?...)
