Baker's has Pychowski born in Bohemia, but apparently this information has been revised? At least, MusicSack places his birth in Belgium. VIAF does not list him at all. (I would have thought Poland. He appears in a book on American-Polish music, so including him in that category tentatively...- Schissel)
