Chef de bureau at the Chancellerie de la Légion d'honneur; Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur in 1872. [1]
A. Pellier-Quensy, the librettist of Le Béarnais (J.-Th. Radoux) is most probably an alias for Adolphe Pellier. [2][3]
Identification of the librettist Adolphe Pellier as Jean François Adolphe Pellier, is slightly speculative: the latter is a declarant on the death registration of Fanny Orr, spouse of André Chanet [Paris 9me, 23 March 1861, RegN°418, view 13/31]; his signature reads "A. Pellier". Both Adolphe Pellier and André Chanet are librettists of 20 Mélodies, 1er recueil (J.-Th. Radoux).
