- Grandfather of Carlos Ortíz Cobos (1890-1982) and great-grandfather of José Manuel Ortíz (19??).
- There's a issue on his opus numbering, as from of his opus numbers were subtracted 4 numbers as he had a piece that was divided in 4 different opus numbers, and that makes a challenge on trying to construct his worklist or putting the correct numbering on the work pages.
