- Gathered from a number of short references: A benedictine composer, born in Černošín (Tschernoschin, in German). He worked as the director of church music in the cathedral in Přeštice (Prestitz), which was administered by the nearby monastery in Kladruby (Kladrau), which once owned a large swathe of land including the town Přeštice. He died Přeštice in 1724, although 1709 is also given as his date of death by Barbara Renton in The Musical Culture of Eighteenth-Century Bohemia, a PhD disseration, City University of New York, 1990. His surviving works include 5 Masses and 2 Offertories.
