Belgian Wallonian musician, mainly active in his home town Malmedy, as a teacher, conductor and organist.
Studied the violin at the Conservatoire de Liège.
Composer of salon music for piano and for violin.
Involved with the local folkloristic music, e.g. as composer of La nuit de mai (Op.2) and editor of La lyre malmédienne (Op.151a), an anthology of "Aires, Chansons, Respleus, Chœurs, Rondes et Danses du pays de Malmedy".
