My publishing adventure began on my first, second, and third websites. The last, DenisLabrecque.ca, contains some of my music. Unfortunately, there is but little of my music there: some of my sheet music is however on IMSLP.
I also published some of my music to YouTube; yet there is a disparity, as some music is recorded acoustically with the score as video, whereas the rest is recorded completely by the computer with a placeholder image.
I should eventually attempt to bring all my music to IMSLP as much as possible, but I'm not sure when I'll get around to it.
In composing, my focus is usually classical. I especially tend to write rather difficult pieces for the violin, as that has been my favourite instrument to play for a while now.
My attention has gradually turned towards French hymns. Such music is not only more likely to be performed, but also fills a comparative imbalance left by the English composers.
My music remains largely unperformed. If anyone has a request for music or collaboration, please give me a heads up: I'll be very pleased! Contact me from my Facebook page. The following 10 pages are in this category, out of 10 total.
