Cornet virtuoso and prolific composer of music for the cornet. Featured soloist in Louis Jullien's Drury Lane Orchestra in the 1840's. Travelled to America with Jullien in 1853. Author of Hermann Koenig's Journal for the Cornet a Piston (ca.1850).
