Father of Louis Kleinwächter (Alois) (1807-40). He married the daughter of Prague banker Karel Anton Ballabene (1743-1804). For several years until his business failed in 1827 he kept a musical salon in Prague frequented by many distinguished musicians of the day, such as the organist Pietsch, and the composers Jan Bedřich Kittl (1806—1868) and Louis Spohr (1784—1859).
