Russian-born American pianist and piano teacher, born 1880 in Petrograd, moved to New York ca.1890.

Some 'child prodigy' performances in the 1890s.

Went to Berlin ca.1900; studied with Xaver Scharwenka, Eugen d'Albert and Stavenhagen.
In the 1900s: back in the US, touring as concert pianist.

(1915).
From 1920 he travels in Europe (to 'study with European masters'); in 1922 he resides in Berlin.

Last trace found: Nov 1924, a passport renewal for his stay in Berlin, for 'orchestrating an opera ... and finishing my pianistic career'.
