Marie-Thérèse-Louise Guilmant, born in Boulogne-sur-Mer on January 20, 1826. She was the sister of Alexandre Guilmant (1837-1911), famous organist and well-known composer. Louise was a fine pianist, and she also played the organ in the church of Saint Nicolas in Boulogne-sur-Mer. She had piano lessons from Émile Prudent. On September 1, 1866 she married Marcellin Albert Nicolas Carlier. She lived in Boulogne for all of her life, and was active as pianist, organist and singer. She published a couple of piano works, some vocals works (including an 'Ave Maria'). She dies on September 24, 1881 in Boulogne-sur-Mer.
