Member of Gesellschaft der Associierten, a Viennese aristocratic concert promotion club, along with Lobkowitz, Esterhazy, Erdody, Apponyi and others. The club was active from 1786 to 1808, and was succeded by Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde (1812-present). The club's founder was Gottfried van Swieten (1733—1803), who introduced Mozart to the works of J.S.Bach in the early 1780s.
