Son of Ignatio Fiorillo (1715–1787). Neapolitan opera composer who spent most of his life as a Kapellmeister in Braunschweig and Kassel, North Germany. Opus numbers are confused because Hummel of Berlin used different numbers from Sieber of Paris; Hummel's Op.3 is the 3 violin concertos while Sieber's Op.3 is the 36 Caprices
