Described as Viennese in a 1900 Musical Times- admittedly toward the end of his life (reviewing a performance of his cello sonata, performed Vienna March 1 1900. He also wrote, according to contemporary reports, a Pathetic Overture performed ca.March 1901 in Vienna.) Born Biedermannsdorf, died Klosterneuburg.
