Miscellaneous information
Date of birth estimated from comment in Nancy Toff's book 'Monarch of the Flute: The Life of Georges Barrere' (2005), in which she states that Delacroix was five years senior to Barrere, who was born in 1876. Delacroix studied at the Paris Conservatoire, premiered (as accompanist) two Debussy songs (1905) and made some early piano trio recordings (1906).
