The July 1932 "International Musician" lists a disbursement of fees for his attendance at a union meeting while the May 1933 issue lists him as living at Astor Station, Boston, Massachusetts (and Billboard lists him in New York City as early as 1920), so one can presume he may have emigrated to the United States by this time, unless this H.E. Brenton is someone else entirely. (Moreover, the September 1936 issue has a letter by HE Brenton signed as Financial Secretary-Treasurer, presumably of the American
