An entertainer at the piano, who composed most of his own material. Before his career, he was a veteran of the First World War, eventually becoming Lance-Corporal. His first foray into entertaining was in 1915, entertaining those unfortunate enough to end up in the Union Workhouse. After the war, his career truely flourished, as he was famous on the Radio, transmitting to millions. His piano entertaining led him to join H. G. Pelissier's Follies, after Pelissier's death, during their decline. He died in 1936, after a period of ill health.
