Miscellaneous information
- "H. Augarde" or "Haydn Augarde" was also used as a pseudonym by Charles Arthur Rawlings for some operatic arrangements for piano published in England in the 1910s. Music Sack lists three Augardes who were clarinetists in the late nineteenth century suggesting that the current H. Augarde is possibly from that family as his only published work is the Air varié for clarinet and orchestra (or piano) published in America in 1879.
