Title of published score has "MCMLI", suggesting a composition, not just a publication, date of 1951; however, various sources give 1950. (1950-51 is of course possible, since "composition date" to some means beginning and to some means end... if the composer kept a consistent notebook or mentioned the conclusion of even this brief work in his correspondence, that would be helpful here, as usual in such things... - ES
