Navigation etc.

  • Grove states that "The only original extant organ composition is a toccata printed in Diruta's Il transilvano (RISM 15939)" indicates that the canzonas by Guami in this collection are intabulations (by Guami or others) of existing canzonas (of which Guami wrote many). Therefore, the original instrumentation of this is unknown. Tagging has been done for the known published version, and the "und" (undetermined) to cover the original. If it can be positively identified in other collections of Guami's canzonas, the "und" can be replaced by another tag.
