1. In French lute-tablature (d, a, g, D-lutes) . If performed I would look forward about a small reference to my efforts.
2. According to this edition, the source was Nova musices organicae tabulatura, and that collection does have 2 Guami canzoni (Nos.45 and 46), but a "fourth" canzon would indicate either that Guami had 4 printed in that edition, or that it was the fourth one in the set. However no.4 in Nova Musices is "La Rosa", which does not seem to match this canzon. The designation is much more likely to be from the 1588 collection cited below.
