From a collection entitled "Curiosités musicales: Publiées avec Préface et Accompagnement de Piano part J.B. Wekerlin". Wekerlin was therefore the editor of the collection, which gives this song the subtitle "Romance", but that is not in the earlier 1912 edition. BnF dates this edition at 1914.

The 1912 edition says "Transcription harmonisation de Francisque Darcieux", so presumably this was originally in figured bass, i.e. continuo. However, the Bibliothéque national de France has no 18th-century manuscripts of the work, and Grove Music's article on Marie Antoinette lists no works written by her, so there is a possibility that this is a spurious attribution.
