Extra Information Bright Orange for Brass is a short composition for Brass ensemble divided in five sections. The first and fourth sections are slow and played mostly by individual players. The second section serves as a sort of introduction to the third section, which is faster and dance-like. The last section is the fastest and uses an irregular rhythm, with beats divided 2-2-2-3, which is common in the Balkans and in particular in Roma music. The full ensemble version of Bright Orange is for thirteen brass instruments. The piece can however be played omitting any instrument but Trumpet 1 and 2, Horn 1, Trombone 1, and Tuba.
