Also F[rancesco] Bongiovanni, founded in 1905 (eponymously) in Bologna by a Sicilian flautist born in 1866. It was an instrument retailer and publisher. In the early days it was the daily meeting place, every evening at 6PM, of a lively musical club named “Cenacolo musicale", or “cenacolo delle beffe”. By the 1920s it published works by Ottorino Respighi, Ildebrando Pizzetti, Pietro Cimara, Luigi Ferrari-Trecate, Gian Francesco Malipiero, Francesco Balilla Pratella, Vittorio Gui, Franco Alfano, and Riccardo Zandonai. It is now a substantial retailer and record label in Italy, called Casa Bongiovanni. (May still publish music?)
