History

London publisher and music seller founded ca.1823 by George Walker the younger.
Presumably a successor to the similarly-named Bedford Musical Saloon run c.1810 by George Kiallmark at 47 Southampton Row (possibly the same building prior to a numbering change).
In 1827 the firm moved to George Walker senior's Soho Square premises, and in 1829 was subsumed into George Walker & Son.

George Alexander Hodson appears to have revived the name c.1835 for a short-lived London business at 13 Store Street, Bedford Square.
