This piece makes use of rhythmic and melodic elements typical of the Baião, Baião is a genre of music and popular dance of the Northeastern region of Brazil, derived from a type of lundu, denominated "Bahiano" (a reduction of the name), whose name is corrupt. The baião uses the following musical instruments: viola caipira, triangle, flute and accordion (also called accordion). The fiddle is pointed as the instrument of the Baião, given the sonority to remember that of the accordion, which in turn would be the most identified when the rhythm became known nationally and internationally.
