After ms Leipzig Universtity library 1694, dating ca.1490-1506. This is the only known work of this composer, and his origin from Mol, Belgium, is the only known detail of his life. His name is mostly misspelled as Ranlequin. For stylistic reasons and for the lack of a common manuscript tradition it is probable that Roelkin, Raulin and Raulequin were three different composers.
