Misc. Notes The same melody Doss used to set the Ave Maria has been used to set the O Salutaris as well (a change possibly authorized by the composer- at least, an 1870 version for orchestra also may be a double setting, see below. Its vocal parts are missing, so hard to say.)

Orchestrated (by the composer?) (described as "Ave Maria & O Salutaris") - orchestral (though not vocal) parts exist in ms copy made by another in 1870, at library at Namur, RISM 706001819.
