History
- Founded in 1927 by Paul Heinicke. Associated initially served as a sole US agent for numerous European publishers, including Bote & Bock, Breitkopf, Doblinger, Eschig, Schott, Simrock, UME and Universal Edition. Starting in the 1930s, they also published a number of American composers. Acquired by G. Schirmer in 1964.
