"NB When this Anthem is perform'd by a Band two Octave Flutes may be added to the two Clarinett parts in the Chorus's but in the Verse parts such as Trios Duetts Solos &c the Octave Flutes must be omitted, & I wou'd advise the Clarinetts not to be doubled[.] A German Flute may also play the alto parts from the score in the Chorus's" [sic]
