Angelusklokker (engl.: Angelus bell) was the first piece by Ludolf Nielsen to be performed in public. Composed in December of 1898, It was first performed by Hedvig Quiding Faaborg, a singing teacher and critic, during a concert at the 28th February 1899. Later that year, Nielsen decided to revise the score.
