Navigation etc.

No evidence that any part of this opera was published in the 19th century or up through 1918. The version used in the 1887 performance was edited by Emil von Reznicek (whose manuscript score is available at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin) but this edition does not appear to have been published.
Lortzing's score apparently uses excerpts from the following works: Die Letzten Dinge by Louis Spohr, Gebet vor der Schlacht by Carl Maria von Weber, La Muette de Portici by Daniel-François-Esprit Auber, and Die Schöpfung by Joseph Haydn.
