Navigation etc.

The violin parts are indicated in the singular in the 1748 first publication. The 2 "piccolo flauto" lines do not play at the same time as the traverso, so undoubtedly the traverso player would have taken one of the piccolo flauto lines, meaning that this could be done with 8 players.
