History
The Amadeus Verlag was established in in 1973 by Bernhard Päuler (1932-2016). Päuler was a little known arranger and editor of mainly German chamber music. It publishes some standard works but also many first editions and reprints of forgotten works from the 18th and 19th centuries. The scores are elegantly produced on good paper with high legibility and with tastefully illustrated covers.
