Extra Information The origins of this are a little unclear. It seems to have been part of Recueil de pièces for violin and piano [ded. Countess de Vauban], and which Grove Music says was "erroneously called ‘Trios’" in F-Pn. However, the modern edition of the Collection of pieces for the Countess of Vauban edited by Richardson and Bauer, the instrumentation is piano solo, so somewhere along the line it seems to have been re-arranged. Worldcat gives 1999 for first engraved publication, actually.
