This firm published music in Elberfeld (now Wuppertal, Northrhine Wesphalia) from 1874 into the 20th century. It produced a small number of works, mainly light, but with the addition of a few more serious items by the städtischen Kapellmeister (city music director) Georg Wilhelm Rauchenecker such as his violin concerto (1890).
