Composition date of 1826 is taken from the cover page (not included above) and the last page of no.9 from BSB Mus.ms. 5754. BSB claims that manuscript to be an abschrift from 1830. A remark in their catalog states the entreactes were "für das Burgtheater in Wien. komp. 1826." The pieces do not all share the same orchestral forces. The Entreactes are not, apparently, mentioned in either Otto Kronseder's 1903 work list or Max Chop's work list from 1890. W. Neumann's work list from 1856 includes the following entry: "12 Entre actes für das Burgtheater in Wien 1833." Whether or not these nine are included in those 12 is anyone's guess.
