Dora Leen was the pseudonym or perhaps married name of Dr. Sigmund Pollak's daughter Dora(?) Pollak - the doctor was Ferdinand von Saar's personal physician, and apparently the doctor and/or his daughter were acquainted with the composer, who then became acquainted with Saar.
