The manuscript was not entitled by the composer. The title used by the University of Warsaw Library (6 Ukrainian songs) may be not absolutely correct. At least #3 and #6 must be Belarusian songs. The Polish orthography used by the composer as well as the similarity of Ukrainian and Belarusian languages complicate the clear differentiation but some particularities of the transliteration indicate that the songs have not only Ukrainian libretti.
