Changed tags because this is NOT chamber music, and cannot be performed with 8 or 9 players. Quite the contrary, this is scored for a *large* string orchestra: all bowed-string parts except bass have solo-vs-tutti and 4-way divisi; the viola and cello parts are explicitly assuming six desks (12 players) in each section, and even the harp part says "double if possible".
