In the score of "Groteske in Walzerform" it says: Nach zwei in einer Zeichnung vertechter Themen von Fräulein Vilma Gruber folglich als Urheberen ihn Weihnachten 1919 componiert und freundschaftlichst gewidmet von Robert Alexander; wich translated means: Based on two themes depicted in a drawing by Miss Vilma Gruber, therefore composed and most cordially dedicated to her by Robert Alexander at Christmas 1919.
