Extra Information Originally published as 3 Sonatas, Op.4. Republication by Schirmer was as 3 Sonatinas. There is also at least one sonata for four-hands, Op.26, pub.1866. There is also a set of three sonatinas (so-published), in C, G, and F, op.49, published by Hainauer in 1868 (could conceivably be a revised version of opus 4, but absent a score of opus 49, no way to tell yea or nay. A set of sonatinas that are in the same order -C, F and G- were published by Fürstner of Berlin in 1870 as op.66.)
