  • Elegia belongs to music for the play "Isä & tytär" (Father & daughter) and currently has a catalogue designation Op.3c No.1. Wedding March was composed for the nuptial ceremony of Yrjö Putkinen & Emmi Silventoinen (younger sister of Alma, who became Kuula's 2nd wife), the ceremony took place in Church of St Mary's (also called the Finnish Church) and was initiated by this piece, M. Putro playing the organ (although it's not intended for that instrument). After midnight, during the celebrations and party held in Terehov Palace, the March was played again, this time by the composer himself at the piano.
