  • All three pieces were first published by Ewer in 1847, in two separate sets: the Magnificat B 59 and the Nunc dimittis B 60 appeared together, while the Jubilate B 58 appeared together with Te Deum, WoO 29. These English editions had organ accompaniment, while Mendelssohn explicitly requested that the organ part be removed for the first complete edition eventually published by Breitkopf & Härtel in 1848.
