Extra Information
|
This Work is designed as an Appendix to the Two Collections of Psalm & Hymn Tunes, already Published by Mr. Camidge & Mr. P. Knapton, in order that the Three together may form a complete Musical Companion to the Selection of Psalms & Hymns for Public Worship lately Published under the sanction of His Grace the Archbishop of York. The Work will also be useful to complete any other Collection where Peculia Metre Tunes are wanting. As Chanting is becoming general in Parish Churches The Author, has subjoined Twenty four of his own Double Chants, never before Published.
