Extra Information | Based upon the first 8 notes of the Goldberg ground. Discovered in 1974. Before then only canons 11 and 13 were known, with the latter as BWV 1076. Canons 1 & 2: This work is retrogradable, i.e. it can be played in retrograde motion. |
