Note: The Thesaurus harmonicus (Besard, Jean-Baptiste) lute tablatures are devoid of 'h' frets on the courses. This is a guess, but it appears that the typesetter/plate cutter could not distinguish between the handwritten score's 'b' and 'h', and made all of them as a 'B'. Some of the B's are interpreted here as h's. This assumes a 10 course Renaissance Lute in G.
